BAP Dashboard Overview & Navigation Guide
This article provides an overview of the BAP Dashboard and explains how to navigate core features, locate key tools, manage vendors, access reports, and communicate through the Message Center. Use this guide as a reference for understanding the layout and functionality within BAP.
Accessing the Dashboard
When you log into BAP, you will automatically land on the Dashboard.
You can return to the Dashboard at any time by selecting Dashboard from the main menu.
User Menu Overview
The User Menu is located in the upper‑right corner of the screen. From here, you can:
- Access the Message Center
- Edit your User Profile
- Change your Password
- Open the Knowledge Base
- Log Out of the system
The User Menu provides quick access to personal settings and support resources.
Dashboard Layout and Key Components
Search and Filter Bar
Located at the top of the Dashboard, the Search and Filter Bar allows you to refine the invoice data displayed.
You can filter by vendor, invoice status, company, date ranges, and other criteria. Once you apply your filters, click Search.
Invoices by Company
Shows a count of invoices that match your search criteria, grouped by vendor. This provides a quick snapshot of invoice volume by company.
Invoices List
Displays individual invoices and their statuses.
Click any invoice to open it and view its details.
Invoices by Variance
Shows invoices that contain charges or fees outside of the vendor’s contract or fee agreement.
This column quickly identifies invoices that may require closer review.
Using Expand and Collapse View
The Expand View button enlarges the dashboard to show additional metrics and a more comprehensive overview of invoice activity.
To return to the standard dashboard layout, select Collapse View.
This feature is useful when you need extended visibility into invoice statuses or a more detailed data comparison.
Supplement Dashboard
You can navigate between two dashboard types:
- Normal Invoice Dashboard
- Supplement Invoice Dashboard
The Supplement Dashboard operates the same way as the normal dashboard but displays only supplement invoices.
Use this when managing add‑on or follow‑up billing items submitted by vendors.
Invoice Icons and Quick View Tools
Information Icon
Hover over the information icon next to an invoice to view basic invoice details, such as the vendor, amount, and status.
Red Dot Indicator
A red dot next to an invoice indicates that supplements are attached to that invoice.
Clicking the icon opens a Quick View, where you can review supplement information or click View to open the full invoice.
Interactive Graphs
All dashboard graphs are clickable. Selecting a bar or section of a graph displays the list of invoices represented in that graph.
This enables quick drill‑downs and faster navigation to specific invoice groups.
Managing Company Settings
Manage My Company
Navigate to My Company > Manage My Company to:
- Update company details
- Upload or replace company logos
- Adjust organizational configurations
Manage Users
Select Manage Users to:
- View user accounts
- Add new users
- Edit or disable existing users
These tools allow administrators to control access and maintain accurate account information.
Vendor Management Tools
Select Vendor Management from the main menu to access the vendor‑specific dashboard.
Vendor Invoice Management
Choose a vendor and click Select to view that vendor’s invoice management page.
Here you can review, manage, and track all invoices submitted by the vendor.
Rules Tab
Use the Rules tab to:
- View existing assignments
- Edit assignments
- Add new assignments based on your workflow
Supplemental Rules Tab
This area allows you to view, edit, or add supplement‑specific assignment rules for the vendor.
Message Center
The Message Center displays your messages and provides a communication thread between you and vendors.
Key Features
- Unread messages are indicated with a yellow alert icon
- Messages open in a threaded view for easy tracking
- Vendors commonly respond to rejected invoices through the Message Center

Reports
Under the Reports section, you can generate and export system reports.
How to Run a Report
- Select a report from the menu
- Apply optional filters
- Click Show Report
- Click Export to download the report in Excel format

Options under Settings vary depending on your system permissions.
Depending on your access, you may be able to:
- Copy rules between vendors
- Manage permission sets
